This artwork is reflection of Alicia’s Barkindji bloodlines celebrating the importance of country the importance of soul and spirit and the importance of recognising the power of the land and its sacred beauty. The title is Kirra Kirra which means "Country" in the Barkindji language. 

Alicia grew up in the desert and this is represented in the brown tones but also through the cooler tones as the desert is full of secret pockets of water and life. This work is reflective of Alicia’s childhood and what she saw throughout the landscape it is also reflective of the feminine nature of earth and life.
